Description
The Sip-Tip Drinking Aid Cup is a drinking aid much like a sippy cup that allows individuals to control the amount of liquid and air ingestion while drinking.
The latex-, phthalates-, and BPA-free, 8-ounce cup has a tight lid that will suppress liquid from spilling if the cup is accidentally knocked over. The lid also employs a one-way valve mouthpiece that the user can employ to ensure lip closure and proper mouth placement while drinking, eliminating any excess liquid from spilling out from the edges of the user’s lips.
The mouthpiece valve can be trimmed to customize the flow control for the specific user, and the one-way valve and mouthpiece can also be used with any of the ten included drinking straws, or most any standard flex-straw. The valve keeps the straw full of liquid between sips, allowing the user to control the amount of air ingestion while drinking, and also reduce the user’s straw-sucking effort.
The transparent cup has a graduated scale located on its side that allows the user or their caregiver to easily monitor the user’s liquid intake, and the cup is microwave safe, and dishwasher safe up to 180-degrees Fahrenheit.
The sip-tip cup is available as a single purchase, and replacement lids, valves, and mouthpieces are also available for purchase.
The cup is not recommended to be used with carbonated beverages.
