Description
The Ki Mobility Catalyst 5 is constructed with aircraft-grade aluminium and has a raft of innovative features that make it an efficient, useful and thoughtfully designed go-anywhere folding chair.
The Catalyst’s seat frame is nestled alongside the main frame rather than on top, which creates a better redistribution of load and a stronger structure.
Folding is achieved with a dual interlocking cross brace, for maximum rigidity when propelling, and a power x-hinge that mechanically locks the frame into the unfolded position, rather than using the user’s weight on the seat fabric to hold the frame open.
Ki Mobility’s patented swing away footplates can be simply and easily attached or removed and a tapered join keeps them snugly fitted and rattle free.
These advanced features combined with comprehensive adjustability make the Catalyst 5 a versatile choice that can be tailored to the user’s needs.
For an even lighter option, the Catalyst 5Ti has a titanium frame with optional titanium cross braces
